We are planning for both our in-person and Troy Online Academy Students for the second semester, which begins January 25, 2021.
Because of the large amount of planning it takes to provide Troy teacher staffing for both our in-person and TOA students, we need to know now whether you are planning on sending your student to in-person learning or the Troy Online Academy.
If you DO NOT plan on changing your student from in-person to TOA or TOA to in-person, you do not need to do anything. Your student will continue either in the in-person learning or TOA program, depending on which they were in for the first semester.
If you are planning to switch your student (or students) from in-person to TOA or from TOA to in-person for the second semester, you will need to fill out this FORM. Forms will be due Nov. 30.
If you are planning on making the switch, please make sure you take all of these things into consideration. In order to maintain proper staffing for both, we cannot continue to make changes for parents who change their minds after making a choice for the student or students:
Whichever you choose for your child, they will remain either in-person or TOA from the first day of the second semester until the final day of school, May 27. Again, it is incredibly important families understand the commitment we are making, so we can properly staff both our in-person and TOA students.
Again, we understand these are difficult times for everyone as a result of the global pandemic, schools included. We are doing our best to accommodate all of our students and appreciate everyone’s patience.
