Troy City Schools to deliver freel meals to district's Troy Online Academy students

TOAfood

The Troy City Schools will begin delivering free weekly meal packages to Troy Online Academy students who live in the district beginning Monday, Sept. 14.

Each week, TOA students who live within the district will receive 10 free meals (5 breakfasts and 5 lunches) on their designated day of the week (which will be determined by their home address), regardless of financial need. All of these meals are paid for through a federal grant that is scheduled to run through Dec. 31. All deliveries will be non-contact.

To opt out of receiving these meals, please complete an online survey by clicking HERE. Any family that does not fill out the survey will automatically begin receiving meals next week.

This free delivery service applies only to Troy Online Academy who live in the district. Any student who lives outside the district (and open enrolls to Troy) may receive free meals, but will have to pick them up on a weekly basis. To find out more about picking up meals, contact TCS Director of Food Service Clint Hufford by email, hufford-c@troy.k12.oh.us, or phone, (937) 332-6041.

All in-person Troy students may receive a daily free breakfast and lunch while at school.
