Troy City Schools hosting public meeting regarding redistricting at 6 p.m. Oct. 8

Troy City Schools is currently in the process of defining attendance boundaries, also known as redistricting, for our three new K-4 elementary school buildings, all of which will open to begin the 2027-28 school year.
As this is a process that will affect all of our students in some capacity, it is our goal to not only be transparent, but also to let our families have a voice in the process.
You are invited and encouraged to attend a public meeting regarding the redistricting process at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 in the Troy High School auditorium.
This meeting will be run by our redistricting firm, Cropper GIS, as well as Troy City Schools Superintendent Chris Piper.
At this meeting, you can expect to hear:
- Background information on the redistricting project
- Project goals and objectives
- A presentation of different redistricting options
- What happens following the meeting, including:
- A community survey
- A timeline of the process moving forward
- When to expect a final announcement
For more information about the background and future of this project by visiting the Troy City Schools’s Redistricting Website.
